About Us
Active Gear Limited and its affiliated brands of www.qmstores.com, www.cadetkitcheck.com and www.iriegadgets.com were established in July 2012.
With the need to able to acquire quality uniform accessories and supplies at a reasonably price with reasonable availability there was a great need for a service to fill this need. Active Gear was born out of the idea of providing the Caribbean’s Defense, Constabulary and Cadet Forces with a place where this can all be done hassle free and located right here in the Caribbean.
QM Stores is the first known online shopping company that fully supply the Caribbean with uniform accessories needed to help our customers get the proper kit for the various occasions that require them. All our websites are sources of tremendous information on the history, composition and usage of all our products from IT supplies to uniform accessories. With us, you will find that we not just list products for sale, but we are a source of information for officers, soldiers and cadets about the history, relevance and uses of different accessories worn in the military and cadet forced in the Caribbean and the wider commonwealth.
Through our Irie Gadgets Brand, we offer a wide range of IT accessories and supplies from micro SD cards to major Network Storage devices and everything in-between. Along with our manufacturing partners, we established this brand to bring IT accessories well within reach of everyone who has a need to use these types of equipment making them available and affordable.

Corporate Social Responsibility
Active Gear Limited through our brands knows that the world cannot work without volunteers and this is why all the members of the Active Gear team volunteer with some sort of service organization to help make our environment a better place to live. Our primary social projects are dedicated to youth leadership and youth development through our gifts, affiliate marketing and support for the Cadet Units whose members and friends purchase our products. We go further to facilitate donations to Cadet Units across the Caribbean by asking our visitors to nominate their cadet unit of choice and a % of their purchase will go directly to THAT unit to aid in their development.
